Health Talk - Create! With Danone Yoghurt

I have always enjoyed my diary since young and I love to have my milk and yoghurt as plain (and white) as possible. When Danone sent me the yoghurt to sample, my eyes lit up when I saw the honey one! I could not wait to try it! :P

I recently went on a staycation with J and we worked out in the 24-hours gym (so awesome!) one of the nights. It was around 11pm when we finished our workout and we don’t really have a habit of eating supper so we decided to get some strawberries, granola and Danone Yoghurt for our post workout meal. J really dislikes yogurt, milk and cheese products in general so I thought I would have a hard time persuading him to try but he ended up enjoying the strawberry version, which is my 2nd favourite! :D

Is Yoghurt for post workout good?

Yes, why not? The muscles in our body are depleted of amino acids after a workout so we will require ample amount of proteins to assist in recovery. Yoghurt in general contains a good amount (depending on your type of workout) of protein, low in fat and carbohydrates, topped with berries for anti-oxidants and calcium for healthy bones. My choice, anytime ever since I tried my first!

Danone Ultimate Greek Yoghurt


I know it sounds really cliché but I really grew up eating Danone Yoghurt, just not sure if I’ve been eating this range of Greek Yoghurt. But my mum, who is also a fan of diary, used to stock up on yoghurt and milk every week so I always have a constant supply at home growing up (until recent years with her obsession with kefir).

I love it that Danone Ultimate Greek Yoghurt is made from 100% Australian milk (I love the raw/original milk taste!) and the fruits within each serving are ultra fresh fruits and not dried fruits! Also, the yoghurt is ultra thick and creamy! So yummy! It comes in 5 flavours: Blueberry, Raspberry & White chocolate, Black Cherry, Strawberry and Honey.


This is my favourite and I finished it so quickly that I had to buy a new set to take more photos! :P The honey version! As mentioned, I really like milk and yoghurt products as plain as possible so I cannot stop raving about the honey flavor! Simply add granola with fresh strawberries if you wanna have it like a parfait, so easy!

Strawberry Granola Yoghurt Parfait


Ingredients:
- Fresh Strawberries
- Granola (of any brand)
- Your favourite Danone yoghurt flavor

Method:
- Layer it with yoghurt first and stack them (as much as you like) whichever way you like and there you go!


J still prefers his strawberry flavor so I will usually make another serving for him with the strawberry flavor (like the one at the back of the next photo).
